We are seeking a skilled decoration specialist to join our team and help us create high-quality embroidered designs for our clients. As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining embroidery machines to produce a variety of designs on different types of fabrics. We use state-of-the-art SWF embroidery equipment and have a wonderful team of highly skilled decoration specialists to help make you feel welcomed and supported during your transition to Arizona Uniform.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered
designs on various fabrics.
- Follow work orders to determine logo, color/s, placement, and any other
specifics.
- Load designs into embroidery machines and ensure that the machine is
calibrated correctly for each job.
- Monitor embroidery machines during operation to ensure that they are producing
quality work and make any necessary adjustments.
- Thread the machine with the appropriate thread color and change thread spools
as needed.
- Trim loose threads and remove excess materials after each embroidery cycle.
- QC every item before and after production.
- Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines, such as cleaning and
oiling, to keep them in good working order.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Keep accurate records of job orders, materials used, and production output.
- Work with team members to ensure that production schedules are met, and
quality standards are upheld.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience operating embroidery machines is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and technical instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adjust as needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Ability to be on your feet for the duration of your work shift.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
